Lovely big house with plenty of room for our extended family stay. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and even closer to the main street through town where there were a great selection of pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes, pasties, great chippy to full a la carte. The double garage was especially useful as you were always sure to have somewhere to park away from any seagull poop. We would definitely book here again.

Absolutely magnificent. We all loved the house, the location, the historical build, the views of the harbour, a garage you can get 2 large cars in. Best of all is the decor and artwork. “It does not get better than this.”
Five siblings together on holiday, first time since 1945 (with the last time being Hastings on VJ day). Wonderful to stay at The Captain’s House and feel nurtured in its comfort. We really had a lovely time in Falmouth. Your house is ideal for a mixed family group with many different rooms to spread out and the weather was even kind enough for us to have a BBQ.

Lovely stay here in comfortable, spacious and very well located house. Nice touch to have the ‘welcome pack’ of tea, coffee, flowers and cake! Beds were very comfortable and with good Cornish air meant very good sleep! Thanks for all the handy maps and leaflets about things to do in the area – we used them well.

Our weekend at the Captain’s House was fantastic, it is such a beautiful house and in a great location. The housekeeping is clearly very efficient as the house was spotless (and I’m quite fussy!). I look forward to returning to the Captain’s House in the future.
